S&C Electric Company is hiring a Pad-Mount Gear Assembler to build high-quality electrical enclosures that support the reliability of the power grid. You will assemble enclosures, install components, and perform mechanical inspections in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include handling components up to 100 lbs with assistance, using torque wrenches and power tools, and adhering to standard work and takt time requirements.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow standard work and written procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble pad-mount gear enclosures from 42”x37”x70” to 86”x94”x76”.
• Identify, transport, install, mount, and bolt components up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Perform mechanical inspections using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
• Use material handling equipment and power tools including air-impact tools and overhead cranes.
• Follow standardized work instructions and meet takt time requirements.
