Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Willimantic, Connecticut. The role is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, days shift in PACU. ACLS/BLS/PALS required, 1–2 years acute care experience preferred.

The PACU RN will monitor post-anesthesia patients, develop care plans, and manage patient recovery milestones in a fast-paced travel role with competitive stipends and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience
• PACU RN experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certification required before start

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
