Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing upon hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or critical care setting upon hire.
• Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or RQI upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association PALS certification or RQI upon hire.
• Current NIHSS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in direct patient care across geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations, analyzing and interpreting patient-specific information to assess and reassess individual nursing care plans.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills when interpreting changes in patients' immediate post-operative conditions.
• Communicates patient information to all appropriate caregivers to ensure effective continuum of care.
• Manages and interprets all patient monitoring devices in the PACU environment competently.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation, utilizing the nursing process to deliver competent, cost-efficient patient care.
