Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse for the PACU team at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. The RN will independently care for a patient group, delegate tasks to the care team, and maintain professional accountability within a PACU setting.

Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with 18 months RN experience and PACU/CCU/ED experience preferred. The position is on-site with daytime shifts and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required
• RN license required
• ACLS Certification required
• Nurse Specialty certification preferred
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 18 months RN experience required
• 1 year RN PACU/CCU/ED experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using nursing process and standards
• Delegate patient care activities to health care team
• Maintain professional accountability and development
• Provide personal care assistance and supervision as needed
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
