Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. The RN will provide direct post-anesthesia care, monitor patient status, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe recovery.

Requirements include 2 years of RN experience, BLS/ACLS, and an RN license. PACU experience is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus. This is a full-time day shift with occasional on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred.
• BLS, ACLS certifications required; RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Professional accountability and ongoing development."
• Direct contact with the child and providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
