Job summary

Aultman Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in the PACU. The RN will coordinate patient care, supervise licensed staff, and ensure compliance with Ohio Nurse Practice Act while collaborating with the health care team.

The role emphasizes patient and family teaching, trauma recovery standards, and maintaining BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. PACU hours are 6am-10pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active RN licensure through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• BLS with RQI required; ACLS and PALS with RQI required.
• Certification preferred for eligible RNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, primary nursing care to patients in PACU.
• Delegate and coordinate patient care; supervise licensed staff.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain standards per Ohio Nurse Practice Act and ASPAN guidelines.
