Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – PACU (RN PACU) to join our team. You will provide high-quality nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, monitoring patients as they recover from anesthesia and transition to full consciousness.

This role offers growth in a collaborative environment with strong onboarding and licensure support. The ideal candidate will have PACU or acute care experience, current BLS/ACLS certifications, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in PACU, critical care, or acute care nursing preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ vital signs post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Identify and address anesthesia/surgery complications promptly.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Assist with hand-offs to other units or home care.
