Job summary

Mercy St. Louis PACU is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to join a Phase I recovery unit. You will care for patients after surgery or procedures with general anesthesia, collaborating with anesthesia and surgical teams to support routine and ICU-level recoveries.

The role requires strong critical care skills, including ventilator and line management. Weekend/holiday call is required; ICU/ED/PACU experience is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive day-one benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• Graduate from an accredited RN program and active RN license.
• Active RN license and nursing degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care after surgery or procedures with general anesthesia.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to support patient recovery.
• Care for adult and pediatric patients; participate in weekend/holiday call.
