Job summary

Mercy St. Louis PACU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Phase I recovery unit. You will care for adult and pediatric post-operative patients, working closely with anesthesia and the surgical team to ensure safe, effective recovery.

You will participate in weekend/holiday call, apply strong critical care skills, and support a collaborative team focused on dignity and compassionate care. Mercy offers day-one benefits and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program and active RN license.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Strong critical care skills including ventilators, airway management and invasive lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care in the PACU.
• Monitor vitals and patient status after surgery.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and care teams.
• Document care and ensure patient safety.
