Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU in a Phase I recovery unit. This full-time role includes 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week (1100-2330), caring for a range of postoperative patients with strong critical care needs.

You will work closely with anesthesia and ICU teams to ensure safe, efficient recovery. Benefits start day one, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited RN program and active RN license.
BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients and coordinates with other departments.
Care for post-op patients in PACU and support anesthesia team.
