Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to care for patients immediately post-surgery. You will monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, respond to complications, and provide initial wound care while ensuring stability during recovery.

The role requires on-call availability during select non-business hours, collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams, and adherence to evidence-based practices in a dynamic, supportive nursing environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensed registered nurse required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care in PACU.
• Monitor airway, neurological, and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe recovery and documentation.
