Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN in Denton, TX to provide immediate post-operative care across a variety of surgical patients. You will monitor vital signs, manage anesthesia-related symptoms, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth patient transitions from the operating room to the PACU and home.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

ADN or higher nursing degree and active RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
1 year of PACU/ICU or high-acuity setting experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate post-operative care for diverse surgical patients.
Monitor vitals and manage anesthesia-related symptoms.
Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams for smooth transitions.
Educate patients and families on post-op care and wound management.
Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies.
