Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited registered nursing program.
• ACLS Certificate and BLS Certificate are required.
• Two years of work experience in PACU/ICU/ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct post-anesthesia care through discharge.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist regarding patient condition.
• Develop and revise nursing plan of care based on assessment and procedure.
• Monitor pain and administer appropriate analgesia; educate patient and family.
• Document care and communicate all necessary information to staff.
