University of Southern California’s Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for diverse patient populations. The role emphasizes coordination of patient care and family education within Perioperative Services.

Under supervision of the RN Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Director, you will implement the nursing process, support quality initiatives, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Grandfathered from BSN if hired prior to 12/2019.
• 1 year PACU or 1 year in high acuity ICU prior to application.
• Excellent communication skills in English (read, write, speak).
• Knowledge of medical procedures and ability to perform duties including blood collection and apheresis.
• Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.

• Provide therapeutic care to patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care and education for patients and families.
• Assist in orientation, training, and continuing education for staff.
• Act as patient advocate and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
