Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience required.
• Ventilator experience required.
• NJ Nursing license current and valid; BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
