Job summary

Ortho Rhode Island is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide care from the operating room through discharge in a per diem, day-shift setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment aligned with OrthoRI policies.

The role requires RI state licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with at least one year of medical/surgical nursing experience. Per diem schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RI State Licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS Required.
• At least one year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from the operating room to discharge.
• Monitor vitals and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure discharge readiness.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
