Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners seeks a Registered Nurse for PACU coverage at Ortho Rhode Island. The RN will assess, plan, implement and coordinate patient care from the operating room to discharge, ensuring outcomes align with facility standards and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold RI licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1+ year medical/surgical experience; EMR proficiency is preferred in a dynamic orthopedic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RI State Licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• At least one year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care per OrthoRI policy and procedures.
• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates patient care from OR to discharge.
• Coordinates nursing interventions to meet expected outcomes and discharge readiness.
• Monitors vitals, recognizes emergencies, and notifies physicians.
• Documents all patient information per standards and ensures confidentiality.
