Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Registered Nurse - PACU for per diem coverage. The role delivers professional nursing care, assesses patients, plans and evaluates care, and collaborates with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays with opportunities for earlier starts; weekend call every 5-6 weeks (12-hour shifts), plus holiday rotation. Requires IL RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• ACLS and PALS within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care and provides quality patient care.
• Assess patients' condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor progress, document observations, and delegate tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to meet unit goals.
