Vancouver Clinic is seeking a per diem PACU RN to provide specialized pre/postoperative care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Vancouver, WA. The role includes on-call shifts with variable hours and no guaranteed schedule, with shifts covering Admit, PACU, and PACU Closing times.

Active WA RN license and OR nursing experience are preferred, along with BLS; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Per diem role includes on-call differential but not eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license required.
• Experience as an operating room nurse, circulating and scrub preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (BLS) required.
• ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

As a per diem PACU Pre/Post Op RN, you’ll provide safe, effective, and individualized care to surgical patients across a variety of specialties. You’ll use the nursing process and collaborate closely with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the preoperative and postoperative experience. **Schedule:** On-call with variable hours based on staffing needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate from week to week. Shift assignments are based on operational needs and may include:* Admit Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm* PACU Shift: 7:00am - 5:30pm* PACU Closing Shift: 8:00am - 6:30pm **Location:** Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street, Vancouver, WA 98686) **Hiring range starting at $46.10 per hour***, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience.* *This position receives a **5%** **on-call differential** and is not eligible for benefits.* **Requirements:*** Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required* Experience as an operating room nurse, circulating and scrub preferred.* Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider certification required.* ACLS, and PALS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.* Prefer those with perioperative nursing experience. *Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions.
