Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, managing a diverse high-acuity patient population across neuro, transplant, orthopedic, ENT, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine cases.

Role

Responsibilities

Develops and implements individualized care plans, assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and educates patients and families on post-treatment care. Participates in promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring effective communication across care teams, and maintaining a healing environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Requires an RN license, with a nursing diploma or associate's degree; BSN preferred. Critical care or Phase 1 PACU experience is preferred, with less than two years of experience acceptable. Must demonstrate a commitment to safety, kindness, respect, and teamwork.
