Job summary

Health, Inc in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job description

Position:

Registered Nurse (RN) in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on post-treatment care, medication management, and safety. Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Nursing diploma or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. RN licensure essential. No prior experience necessary; less than two years preferred. PACU, ED, or ICU experience is a plus. Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Details:

Role involves call responsibilities and an 8AM-4:30PM schedule. Emphasizes safety, communication, and patient education.
