Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ seeks a part-time RN to provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position features a shift of 11a-8:30p two days a week, with an on-call requirement for weeknights, weekends, and holidays. ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required; prior PACU or critical care/emergency room experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license valid and active.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and hospital standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and family.
• Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and safety practices.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care needs.
• Mentor and supervise other nursing staff as needed.
• Engage in orientation, education and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional competencies.
