Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for PACU/critical care. The role features a first shift 11a-8:30p, 18 hours weekly, with on-call requirements for weeknights, weekends and holidays.

ACLS, PALS and BLS are required, with PACU or acute care experience preferred. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NJ RN license and be in good standing.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in PACU or critical care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient assessment leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administer, monitor and document therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patient and family regarding disease process and care needs.
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
