Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's RWJ Rahway facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU on a part-time, evening schedule (9:30 AM–8:00 PM). The role requires active NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of critical care experience; PACU experience is preferred.

Pay range is $48.29 to $65.06 per hour, with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within our acute-care system.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license or Multistate RN license with NJ endorsement.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Current ACLS/PALS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of Critical Care experience; PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and administers individualized, age-specific professional care in assigned unit.
• Supports nursing standards and the mission of RWJBarnabas Health.
• Performs in accordance with nursing regulations and guidelines; participates in discharge planning.
• Contributes to unit Performance Improvement initiatives.
