Job summary

Atrium Health’s One Day Surgery PACU in Charlotte, NC is hiring a registered nurse for a full-time, Monday–Friday day shift with no on-call, weekends, or holidays. The PACU features Phase I and II areas and a diverse surgical case mix including GYN, orthopedics, ENT, and pediatrics, offering broad perioperative exposure.

The role emphasizes caring for patients through post-anesthesia recovery, applying evidence-based practice, and collaborative teamwork to ensure safe care and patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required.
• At least one year of previous Critical Care, Emergency Department, or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
