Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with mandatory call. The role provides care to surgical patients in the preoperative and postoperative period, ensuring pain control, airway safety, and stable vital signs.

The nurse collaborates with anesthesia, surgery, and circulating RNs for optimal patient outcomes. Required is an RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and readiness to complete TNCC within one year.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year PACU or critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia patients and monitor vitals.
• Manage airway and assess for distress or instability.
• Administer meds and IV therapies per protocol.
• Follow discharge criteria and ensure safe recovery from PACU.
