Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role requires nursing assessment, development of patient care plans, and coordination with physicians and the health care team across patient ages. You will deliver medications, supervise IV therapy, and support discharge planning.

Ideal candidates hold RN licensure with BLS/ACLS; PALS where required, and demonstrate competency in dysrhythmia, IV sedation, and neonatal resuscitation as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (Required)
• BSN preferred
• BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS certification (Required)
• PALS certification within 1 year for PACU/ER where applicable (Required)
• Dysrhythmia competency within orientation (Required)
• IV Sedation competency within 6 months (Required)
• Neonatal resuscitation and fetal monitoring requirements for Labor/Delivery as applicable (Required)
• PALS certification for Emergency Dept within hire (Required)
• TNCC certification within 1 year for Emergency Dept (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Required)
• MICN and CEN certificates preferred for certain roles

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess patients and design an individualized plan of care.
• Implements plan of care and evaluates patient progress toward goals.
• Considers age-specific, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care team to coordinate care.
• Applies pharmacology knowledge when administering meds and IV therapy.
