Job summary

SCA Health in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PACU. You will assess patient status throughout the episode of care and develop individualized plans of care for perianesthesia patients, ensuring accurate hand-off reports to teammates.

Primary duties include delivering comprehensive post-anesthesia care, maintaining patient safety, and performing all assigned duties. A current RN license and certifications are required as listed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of PACU experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice.
• BLS/BCLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• Perioperative Nursing or Perianesthesia certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care by implementing.
• Provide hand-off report to teammates that is accurate and pertinent to the patient’s condition.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
