Job summary

SCA Health in Mobile, AL is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PACU. This full-time role rotates across Pre-Op, PACU and Pain Management procedures, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status, developing perianesthesia plans, and providing concise hand-off reports to the team. Requires RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS as needed by scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of PACU experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care by implementing.
• Provide hand-off report to other teammates that is accurate and pertinent to the patient’s condition.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
