Qualifications

• RN licensure required.

• ED or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents care plans with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and respects patient values and preferences.
• Recognizes safety-sensitive nature of the role and maintains alertness and safe work practices.
