Barnes-Jewish Hospital – Main Campus in Missouri is seeking a PACU RN for a pre-op position. The role offers 4/10 hour shifts, 5:30A start times, and 24 hours of call per schedule. Cross-training opportunities and comprehensive benefits are provided. Prior critical care or Phase I PACU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on illness management and post-treatment home care.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Uses nursing assessment to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
