Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for PACU with a focus on critical care patients. The role supports recovery for neuro, transplants, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma and spine cases in a 90-bed PACU.

The position features a 4/10 hour shift schedule, 5:30 AM start, and opportunities to cross-train, with benefits and clinical ladder pathways to advance skills. A dynamic, patient-centered team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred for progression or leadership roles

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per nursing standards

• Develop and document plans of care with the interprofessional team
• Promote patient safety and quality initiatives
