Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Pre-op/Post-op/PACU unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across inpatient and outpatient surgical services, collaborate with anesthesia teams, and contribute to evidence-based practice in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduates (<1 year) participate in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and professionalism.
• Assess and plan care for an assigned group of patients including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicate pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Take responsibility for care documented by other licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
