The role offers direct nursing care, development of care plans, medication administration, and patient education, with a 2:1 patient‑to‑RN ratio and ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification through AHA must be presented on hire or within first year.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
