Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• RN experience levels: RN I < 1 year; RN II 1-3 years; RN III 3-10 years; RN IV 10+ years.
• Demonstrates commitment to caring culture and patient-centered care; adheres to standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients per nursing skills and patient age/needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and patient-centered outcomes.
• Addresses diverse patient needs across the care continuum and maintains service standards.
• Adheres to regulatory and nursing standards; follows MHHS policies and budgeting constraints.
• Promotes professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Other duties as assigned.
