Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an RN to join our patient care team. You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, perform nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records. MHHS hires RNs by experience level (RN I <1 year, RN II 1-3 years, RN III 3-10 years, RN IV 10+ years).

Weekend call every six weeks is required; hours are 11am - 11:30pm. Texas license and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, appropriate nursing care according to standards.
• Conducts nursing assessments and assists with exams and treatments.
• Educates patients and maintains medical records.
• Coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team and supports discharge planning.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies.
