Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications with the surgical and anesthesia team.

Role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours. A supportive leadership team and staffing resources are available to ensure high-quality patient care and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date
• BLS within 7 days of employment start date
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered PACU care following evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status and respond to changes promptly
• Assess and document patient condition and care provided during recovery
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures
