Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Oregon seeks a registered nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients in the PACU setting. Under supervision, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.

Requirements include Oregon RN license, 9 months RN experience and 2–5 years critical care, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications. This part-time, onsite role supports Sunnyside Medical Center's Recovery - PACU.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN license required.
• Minimum nine months of RN experience.
• Two to five years of critical care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required or within due dates.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning.
• Coordinate patient care with surgical team and other departments.
• Document care and medications in the EMR accurately.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe patient transfers.
