Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to deliver patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and coordinating care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in good standing.

A background in ICU, ED, or PACU is preferred, and Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice as an RN.
• Current RN license in good standing and meet state requirements.
• Preferably with 1 year ICU, ED, or PACU experience.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM) may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process with professional accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain organizational standards and values in daily practice.
