Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an RN for the perioperative/PACU setting to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care. You will perform assessments, support recovery, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include 1 year PACU experience in acute care, 2 years critical care or ED, California RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; a BSN is preferred. Call may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year recent PACU experience in an acute care setting.
• 2 years recent critical care or emergency department experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

Aufgaben

• Formulates a goal directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on nursing diagnosis and desired outcomes
• Implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner. Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual and learning needs at the preop interview and develops a plan for care
• Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely, accurate and concise
• Participates in staff orientation and development activities for unit and nursing division personnel as requested
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth by taking advantage of the available opportunities
• Participates in unit quality management and PI improvement activities
