Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN in Grand Blanc, MI to provide post-operative care for a range of surgical patients and monitor vital signs after anesthesia.

Responsibilities include administering meds, coordinating with surgical teams, educating patients and families, and ensuring proper documentation. Eligible candidates should have ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• 1 year PACU/ICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU team for smooth patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and wound management.
• Maintain accurate documentation following hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
