Job summary

Ingenovis Health is seeking travel nursing professionals to care for patients in post-anesthesia recovery (PACU) units. Travel nurses monitor vitals, assess consciousness, and observe for anesthesia side effects after surgery.

Job description

Also known as recovery room nurses, post-anesthesia care unit or PACU nurses care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
