Incredible Health in Michigan is hiring a PACU RN to provide post-operative care for a variety of surgical patients. Roles include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time or per diem options.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1 year in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity settings. EMR proficiency and strong communication are required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $61,860 to $111,200 /year
