Job summary

Incredible Health in Redding, CA is seeking a PACU RN to provide comprehensive post-operative care, monitor patients, and coordinate care with surgical teams.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 1 year in PACU/ICU. Strong communication and EMR proficiency are essential. Benefits include healthcare, 401k, PTO, and tuition assistance. Sign-on bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia symptoms
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth transition from operating room to PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management and wound care
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Salary: $46,000 to $118,000 /year
