Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse in Healdsburg, CA. The role focuses on immediate post‑operative care, monitoring, and effective collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions from operating room to PACU and discharge home.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in PACU/ICU and EMR proficiency are preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU or similar high‑acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical teams for patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post‑operative care and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high‑acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
