MetroHealth is seeking an RN to join the Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU. The role involves caring for pediatric through adult patients in the immediate postoperative period, with rotating shifts and a call requirement. Bi-weekly hours total 64.00 across rotating schedules.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, current BLS, and have ACLS/PALS or the ability to obtain within required timeframes. Collaboration with OR, ED, anesthesia, and surgical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred or to be obtained within specified hire timelines.
• PRN shift work requires at least 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintain patient airway and monitor airway patency.
• Assess hemodynamic stability and provide support as needed.
• Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status.
• Administer pain control and comfort measures.
• Assess wound/incision integrity and overall patient status.
• Collaborate with OR/ED/inpatient teams, anesthesia, surgery, PT, Radiology and Pharmacy.
