Job summary

MetroHealth is staffing the Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU with skilled registered nurses. Responsibilities include maintaining airway, monitoring hemodynamics and sedation, and ensuring pain control and wound integrity for post-operative patients from pediatric through adult populations.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in Ohio, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and PRN or full-time availability for rotating shifts. Tuition reimbursement and certification incentives are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of airway and ventilation in post-anesthesia care.
• Hemodynamic stability assessment and supportive care.
• Monitoring sedation, neurological and neuromuscular status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct post-anesthesia care in Recovery Room/PACU.
• Collaborate with OR/ED/Inpatient teams, anesthesia staff and surgeons.
• Monitor vital signs and patient comfort, ensure wound/incision integrity.
