MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Recovery Room/PACU at the Main Campus. The role involves caring for pediatric through adult patients in immediate post-operative care, with rotating shifts and call requirements.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an Ohio RN license, with BLS; ACLS/PALS or within 6 months. PRN requires RN experience and certifications upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification for healthcare provider.
• ACLS and PALS certificates or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Maintain patient airway.
• Assess hemodynamic stability and support.
• Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status.
• Provide adequate pain and comfort measures.
• Assess wound/incision integrity.
• Overall patient assessment.
