Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, OH is seeking an Operating Room RN to deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care at the St. Joseph Warren Hospital. You will lead patient assessments, support the surgical team, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications preferred or to be obtained within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the surgical team and other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
