Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred at hire; may be required within 6 months for some departments.
• CNOR or SGNA certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
